Rustling Leaves Resort is just a Dream. Period.
(It's not going to happen anytime soon)

First off, we would like to thank all of you who offered us moral support and expressed interest in our project. Between the questionable state of the economy, high fuel cost, tight credit, and changing political climate, this just isn't the time to build the resort. Things will improve, but not soon. In the meantime, my wife and I have opened a sidewalk cafe in Downtown Buena Vista, VA. It's called Franks for the Memories on Magnolia Avenue. Check it out! The area where we are is located in the Great Valley of Virginia, just west of the Blue Ridge Parkway near Buena Vista, Virginia. It offers the tourer, sport-tourer, dual-sporter, and sport-biking enthusiast an entertaining destination in the Central Western Virginia Region. Buena Vista, Lexington, Staunton, and Natural Bridge and their attractions ensure that a guest won't lack for entertainment. But, why not ride? We're just down the hill from the Blue Ridge Parkway, (either by US Rt. 60 or VA Rt. 130,) near M.P. 60 (Otter Creek), and the roads for miles around promise great rides. So, whatever you ride, whatever your riding style or preference, come on and pay us a visit. Stop by our restaurant in downtown Buena Vista and enjoy a meal, then enjoy the ride!
